What to do if you find wildlife in trouble

Contact Seprona, the Guardia Civil’s nature protection service, and/or the threatened species recovery centre nearest to you for advice. The easiest option is to call 112 and explain what you have found. They can arrange the help needed and explain how to keep the animal safe until assistance arrives.

What do the recovery centres do?
Threatened Species Recovery Centres (CREAs) receive wild animals that are injured, ill or weak and have already been captured.
